Alpine type-r speakers, good choice??

Alpine Type-R 6.25". I don't know how many comes in a set but i'd be installing 6 in my 02 maxima. Would that be a good choice or is there anything else that could be recommended?? Better sq wise?

In one set there are two tweeters, two mids, and two crossovers, and SQ is much better than Type R., and they are louder too.

Pro is much better, but getting pricey. An average listener will love REF more than enough, as they play loud and clean. With a heavier price tag of PRO set, you'll be getting better tonality, stage openness, etc, which is better for critical listening. PRO's are also more install dependent to get the most out of them. You will not be disappointed in REF at all. One of the best speakers for the price they are going on Ebay these days.

Diamond Audio HEX is in between REF and PRO quality wise, and is the best deal of the three.

How does the Type R stack up for SPL?
Not SQ or critical listening, but just for blasting those tunes but without worry about it sounding like crap either?
