painting your cones may be good for SQ depending on your circumstances..
best to know exactly how much mass you are adding... if you were clever and had an accurate scale you could figure it out..
Edit: my current HT subs are TOA low frequncy bass drivers that have been sprayed with speckle stone paint and clear coated to lower fs from 30hz down to about 18hz
Rated for 360 watts program each with 15mm one way travil.. the pair can shake the **** out of most living rooms.. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
