What is "enough" output?

The problem with terms like SQL is that they are poorly defined and can't possibly encompass a particular "sound".

I have owned alot of different brands and I build
enclosures for and install even more and I run the
WGTI subs...doesn't matter what sub you compare
them to the WGTI will stomp it for SQ
the WGTI differential drive design is a wonderfull thing

When you say "stomp it for SQ", do you mean that the substage will score better in SQ competition than any other substage using different drivers?

I have used and currently have some subs that are either as good or better than the GTi although it is unarguably an excellent subwoofer.

If your sub can't make your eye ***** wobble inside your head... then you don't have enough output for the system to be deemed 'SQL'

That's my ruler...

alot of subs can sound good to a RTA when set really flat

Team JBL has completely owned SQ for the last 6 or 7 years with this driver
and even to this day the Wgti is on top of the world SQ circut

and I have experience with alot of subs for comparison..I build enclosures
for a living so I have had alot to compare them with
I would like to see a car audio woofer sound tighter and more detailed than
a gti cause so far I have not..
