Question

My 4runner is ripped apart getting a rebuild and a solid axle swap... lift, tires all that stuff.

Before its back on the road I want to reduce some of the road noise, as well improve the inside stereo sound.

for the floot, what is some cheap cheap stuff to use ? Will something like Ice guard, or 'peal n seal' work okay for road noise? What else could I use that is cheap?

For my doors, should I get something better like b-quiet?

Will peal n seal or something similiar work for my doors?

Is there any guides on doing doors? When I take my panels off, I see wires and areas that may be crucial to leave open in order to fix a window etc. How do I know what to cover, etc.

Thanks

My wifes 4 runner actually was treated by Zeibart undercoating. Other than the smell for a couple of days it's pretty good.
It's under carrige treatment. If you add that to the deadning on the inside you should be sound.
just my 2 cents ....

you can get a 10% discount on b-quiet if you mention you are a member from this site. i think they even have a sale on now (for dec). check the link to the left. i've heard the ultimate is much better than the extreme for temperature. the ultimate is butyl mat and the extreme is some sort of tar/ashphalt.

Check out this link before purchasing any sound deadener, it will give you an idea of what should work good in your application.
