On my Home System, I listen to music always in 3.1....gotta have a center.

Why do you like a center for music? Almost all music is mixed in stereo.

It's just something that I have gotten used to and now enjoy.

After sitting in front of a Logitech Z5500 setup most of the time at the computer, I used the center to help create a little nicer listening environment, as 2 feet away from the drivers doesn't really give the left/right channels enough space to properly develop a decent center image......and I guess I just took it from there. The 'Panoramic' front stage imaging effect ?.

In a car fortunately, it's a different animal all together, thanks to the environment having the 'boxed in' effect, thanks to doors etc.....so I don't bother in the car, as it pleases me the way it is.

It may not be 'right' but I enjoy it none the less.
