using the focal passives may cause a bit of an issue as they are designed specifially for the focals. the issues will likely be minor, but beacuse the impedences of the boston midrange, and the overall parameteres in general, the crossover points will vary between wherer they should be wil the focals and where they will be for the bostone, but like i said its going to most likely be minor, great deal btw, and what other gear will he be selling?

that is a sick deal on those focal speakers man i wish i could have picked them up. Even their polyglass speakers sound pretty nice i want utopias. You just made an enemy for life!!!!

I would go for it. Im still waiting on my 165W set to come in to give them a try. I didnt pay retail value but damn thats a price too good to pass up. Wish I could say what they sound like but I will have to wait until they get here
