Help on my setup

Good day guys!

This is my first time in setting up my car and i would like to get your opinion and help on what things to get. Currently I am using the Alpine IVA W-202E head unit and I have these items lying around my house waiting to be installed, the Alpine PXA H701 processor and Alpine PDX4.150. These are the things that i have in mind.

seps:

Alpine Spr-176a
Alpine Spx-177r
Focal polyglass 165v2

sub:
Focal polyglass 27v1
Alpine 12 inch Type R
JL 12w3v3

I am also planning to deaden my 2 front doors and the whole trunk. Could you please help me choose on what seps and sub to get.

Thanks

Well what kind of music do you listen too, as well do you have a budget you wanna work with? Do you want something that is more SQ related then SPL, basically do you want more towards the clarity side of sound?

I might be misunderstood on this, but do you already have the subs & speakers? or just he processor and amp?

I usually listen to house, hip hop and rnb most of the time, but i also listen to all all types of music. I do like more on the clarity side (SQ), hear the instruments but alittle emphasis on the vocals.

as of the moment all i have is the amp, processor and head unit. I am looking for a suitable separates and sub for my needs. My budget is around 500-600cad

I would take a look at Morel or Eclipse component speakers. The Focal are nice speakers but I have found them to be really shrill on the top end, I am just not a huge fan of their tweeters in this set of speakers. Pour the $ into the main speakers and get a respectable sub, no need for top of the line on the sub.

www.morelhifi.com and look at the Tempo line to start.
www.eclipse-web and look at the SC6500

by the way, i forgot to say that i stay here in the Philippines. Morels and Focals here are the 2 main players when it comes to sq speakers so to say. from the feedbacks of people who are in to car audio say that morel are on the warmer side of sound quality. some people agree with you in focals that they shrill on the top side. I am a bit confused on what to get. I have listened to a car that has focal access separates and coaxial with no amp and no sub and i found it good but still lacking but i didnt find their highs to be piercing. with morel, i do want to how it sound so that i will have a comparison to the focals access. although i listened to focal access not polyglass v2 atleast i heard the characteristic of focal.

MR2NR: what particular model could you recommend on the morel? by the way, we dont have eclipse here in our country or its just very rare. thanks also for giving me your inputs.
