Just a question to my peers: Has anyone used pioneer amps recently? Particularly the new class D mono amp. Reviews requested and anyone that has actually tested this amp on the bench please respond.

thanks fever, very helpful. based on this info I just bought one at a little known electronics shop in Vaughan, ont., for the wonderful price of 349.00 including taxes and the guy is a pioneer dealer(full warranty). I will hook it up soon and let everyone know how it sounds.

hey guys, hooked up the pioneer gmd-510m amp today. I am very impressed with the sound and power. I should mention that this amp is for my brother's car, but I could not help trying it in my car first. I have a punch 6001bd pushing 2 jbl power 12" subs and it is powerful and very clean with really great, dynamic sound. Well this pioneer sounds almost the same, not quite as powerful but the sq is about the same. Very impressive especially considering the price(349.00 incl. taxes and full warranty). Definitely a best buy in my opinion!

 

I got one of those pushing 2 15" vegas. It's sounds really good man. This little amp( same size as standard sheet of paper) really pumps. And you're right veeman I got it for about 370.00. Sweeeeeeeeet!
