OK a smallish car with a small charging system. 3 amplifiers each requiring 4 gauge wire. Now in the Cav you do have enough room to run 0 from the front to the trunk... or you can go the dual battery route. There are several nooks and crannies in that car to put a lot of this gear but yeah planning is needed.

A SQ system with real power draw isnt that unusual, extra batteries is pretty common. But the competition crowd runs their systems with the engine off, so I would say you are close to needing the second battery. I generally recommend wet cells due to cost and performance but sealed cells are superior but costly and are better for in car mounting.

Cost isn't really an issue at this point why get the bit one and Zapco amps then start saving money now, I’m more worried about affecting the performance of the car. I don't really want to play around with the electrical of the car it's been a perfect car from day one for me (wood knock). I use the car for work and it's a daily driver, anyways I want to list the upgrades below in detail just to make sure I have it right.

1) 0 gauge wire neg terminal of starter battery to chassis ground
2) 0 gauge wire neg terminal of starter battery to engine block
3) 0 gauge wire pos terminal of starter battery to alt
4) 0 gauge wire pos terminal with inline fuse to second pos terminal to second battery with another fuse just before the battery (with isolator in between)
5) 0 gauge wire neg terminal of second battery to chassis ground in trunk
6) 0 gauge wire pos terminal of second battery to distro block with fusses then 4gauge wire to each pos of Zapco amp
7) 0 gauge wire neg terminal of second battery to distro block which will be grounded to chassis from the amps

^^^ is what I would do with a second batt. I've installed C2Ks in the past and they are dynamic SOB's. Do the big 3, install a second batt then call it a day and enjoy your perfect hearing while it last

I would suggest one 1800. I used one of those for my last sq set-up and it was flawless! I was running 3300 watts with no dimming.
