The best of both worlds, i have a 05 ram 1500 with 4 12" premiere low pro subs in sealed box, amp is an old school orion hcca 150R, 2 farid cap,audio control 4 in 1 xover line driver, i get great SQ, it sounds great and hits hard real hard. so dont let any1 tell you you cant get SQ and SPL. You first need a good SQ amp and SQ speakers or its not going to happen for you.

 

I would spend the big bucks on front stage speakers and head unit, as IMO these two are the most important things for SQ, and make sure install is done right.

 

If you have SPL woofers with SQ speakers does it kill the SQ?
