Well I've gotten myself into a pickle.

I've recently aquired a set of SPX-17REF and I'm debating to replace my front stage.

Currently:

2 - MLK tweeters,
2 - HSK165 mids (running the midbass)
4 - MLK165 mids (doing a lot of the dirty work)

in a three way active system.

The possible future:

2 - SPX-17REF tweeters
2 - SPX-17REF mids (doing midbass)
1 - SWR-1023D sub doing dirty work (likely up to 125 hz)


Any thoughts between the two set ups?
I know that the price difference is huge between the two component sets, but is the sound as well?

also, if anyone on the forum was wanting to buy either set that would also sway my decision
