the disc is ok but man alive i would rather use there first disc ever from 1990 ,night on bald mountain kicks..... i downloaded the iasca disc they use in europe and much better... its on a bit torrent... or i use the ultimate sound disc by chorskey records.. very very nice with complete instructions..

Seriously man, if you're going to go with a good sq amp with your good focal speakers you can't cheap out. Just gotta suck up the cost and throw it onto the line of credit or something. Stick to the focal brand. Like me! I'm running the fps2300rx to power my fronts and the 4 channel fps 4160 for my rears and sub.
If you don't have crazy power requirements go with the 4160. It's more than 550 for sure but super awesome.

 

Well I didnt realize this thread was still going on till just now lol. But I ended up buying a Arc SE 4200 for mids and tweets (active), and a Arc SE 2300 as my sub amp, and a JBL MS-8 for my processor. Idk if Im gonna run focals now tho, Im swaying towards The Hybrid Audio Technologes Special Edition Legatia's that come out next month. Ill still probably end up buying another Arc Amp so I can run 3 way active up front, and possibly some speakers for a rear fill for the ms-8

Also I wish I could just throw somethin onto the line of credit lol. Dont have one cus I just turned 18

Agreed i would have SE's in my car to if they didnt get sold so i bought some Arc KS's i think after listening to your van lol. Then the SE's wernt sold and were back up for sale... i almost cried a little on the inside .

Also i was so hoping the new L6 was going to be an actual Mid Bass but it plays up to like 10k?? wtf lol looking like im going to have to wait for the L6Pro in 11 or whenever its due...

 

I love my KS, but wanted to try the SE, might put them back on the market if i don't notice the difference

The new L6 have been optimize for a 2 way setup i guess, but like the L8 give them plenty of air and they will surprise you. The L8 in my doors only shine windows up, otherwise the gap where the window goes does act as port (aka giant leak) and you can feel the air lol

Really? So maybe I should just get the L4 SE's and L6 SE's and call it good? Will the tweeter add anything for me at all you think? I just thought itd be awesome to see that amazing looking tweeter in my setup haha But if its not gonna add much it'll be out for the price its at.
