sub that'll put out good sq and spl

How much space are you willing to give up will determine what kind of substage you can acquire.
As for amps I only recommend Digital Designs M series because they make rated power at 12volts and make more power if you can keep your voltage around alternator charging levels.

ok well I don't use my trunk at all. Just my amps and substage is in there so I don't mind using up the whole trunk. As far as the amp you recommended me I've never heard of that company. As I'm looking for a 1000watt amp what do they have and what kind of price range are we talking about ? I'm currently set on a sundown amp that'll do 1200rms at 1 ohm and that's exactly what I need

Not sure where you are from but I have been quoted dd M1C's for $500. Check out the website to find a dealer near you DD Audio : True to the Source | DD Audio

For substage i would do a pair of Sound Solutions Audio DCON 10's. DCON 10 Sound Solutions Audio 10" 300W DCON Series Subwoofer - SSA STORE
For amp go with a Soundqubed (Audioque) Q1-1200D Q1-1200D Amplifier and wire it to 2 ohms.
The reason why I recommend this setup is, it will be easy on your electrical you won't need a second battery or a high output alternator. I had a pair of DCON 12's and these things slammed, super efficient, very musical and had enough output for serious bass heads.
Make sure you build a proper box to get the most performance out of them, invest in oxygen free copper power wire minimum 4 gauge and do the "big 3" upgrade in your car.

if your getting the sundown from sonic you'll be super satisfied...they do well over rated and clean power....same with the idmax amazing sq...if it were me i would go with the idmax, fiQ or w6/w7 if i get them on the cheap
130amp alt may not be enough on its own because youll be using the jl 600/4 which needs more juice than a typical 4 channel due to its regulated power supply and and the sax1200 which is more like a 1500watt amp. Get a dual 4 ohm sub that way u can use it at 2ohm making it easier for ur electrical (the sundown probably puts out over 1000@2ohms anyway) and if u add another sub down the road you can get full power from the amp
Get the biggest AGM batt u can fit for your starting battery under the hood and a decent size(maybe matching one) in the back. You should be ok then
did u get ur hd600/4 from a guy in brampton?
edit: i would also suggest u tune ur box 32-35hrz for sq....when you start getting into the 40s and higher your getting in spl area...bassworx boxes usually have their enclosures tuned in the low 40hz so you can take that for what its worth

alright thanks alot for the input. Im still not 100% on what I want to do, but I'm leaning towards the idmax and sundown. The only issue is power. I'm going to do the 130amp alt, the big 3, and I'll get 2 new batteries one under the hood and one for the trunk. And yes I got my HD600/4 in Brampton. How'd you know?
