I am very happy with the TA in my HU and it is particularly useful when the vehicle needs to stay in original condition.

It actually has three Toslink inputs as well as 2 Ai-Net inputs (One regular, other for changer) and a single pair of RCA-Inputs and Navigation Input.

I could be wrong but I think there were some older PPI boxes you could buy that were TA units.

TA is useful if you know how to apply it properly. It's a tool that can be abused easily and has gotten an unfair rap. Everything in moderation.

I say, start with the basics first then tune it with TA.

Image your comp set first then once that's done, use your TA if need be.
