It actually has three Toslink inputs as well as 2 Ai-Net inputs (One regular, other for changer) and a single pair of RCA-Inputs and Navigation Input.

I could be wrong but I think there were some older PPI boxes you could buy that were TA units.

TA is useful if you know how to apply it properly. It's a tool that can be abused easily and has gotten an unfair rap. Everything in moderation.

What about when you have a three way setup? And you want to delay the door mounted midbass to match up with kick panel mounted tweets. I mean we are talking about cars, which never have ideal speaker placement no matter what.

Alot of the top cars at Finals had some sort of Time Alignment. Are all those cars band aids?

I say use every tool available.

I say, start with the basics first then tune it with TA.

Image your comp set first then once that's done, use your TA if need be.

It would be interesting to hear those top cars without the TA. Just to see how much time was actually spent on staging and imaging before the TA was brought into the system.
I dunno...I am still up in the air about this whole TA stuff. I guess its technology making things easier for people. I am kinda old fasioned I guess. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
