Nothing wrong with a bit of T&A.

Generally speaking, most people that crap on time alignment usually have no clue how it works. Because they don’t understand it or worse.......... pretend ot understand and make a mess of it, they believe its junk and the lazy man’s way out and dump on it.

Fact of the matter is that achieving perfect sound in a vehicle is pretty much impossible. So you try to get as close as possible. Driver placement is paramount but there's only so much you can do. Also with the various modes(construction and destructive reinforcement) setup becomes incredibly complicated and difficult. So the smart installer learns and uses all the tools they have access to. That includes Time Alignment.

However, if you still believe its junk, then that's fine too. Don't use it. Just don't jump up and down flapping your arms telling everyone it's crap.............. because it's not.

I dunno...I am still up in the air about this whole TA stuff. I guess its technology making things easier for people. I am kinda old fasioned I guess.
Those cars would still kick *** without TA. But TA does make them better. Tell me Pete, does the car you drive have a computer in it. Do you use a snowboard with any composites in them. Every one rags on certain technologies in every industry. Look at High Performance cars. All the muscle car guys rag on imports nowadays, but really what they are doing is no different than Edelbrock or Holley or Yenko were doing in the 60's, using the available techniques and technologies to make things work better.

It's like people who say NOS is fake HP, that's no consolation when you're at the finish line behind the other guy.

Same thing with TA, at a comp it's easy to say, people who use it are lazy (which I would argue) but that's no consolation when they're onstage and you're not.

Like I said use the tools available, and you will get better results.
</font>
Muscle cars will always be better and faster than imports untill Honda starts making a 5.0L+ V-8 engine for the Civic
NOS is the cheaters way out...or a broke man's supercharger. I'd use NOS on a turboed car to get rid of the turbo lag, other than that, it's all about getting air into the engine and getting the exhaust out. You should work on making your engine more powerfull through heads,bottom end, intake and exhaust. most people don't start out with $15,000 to make 600+hp from an H22A Honda, so work your way up to that just like with car audio. No-one starts out with a Denon Z1, Audison Hr-100's, a Focal Audiom set and Utopia subs...you work your way up to it.

Back to the TA thing, I think, like NOS, it has it's uses, but unless your system is already sounding sweet, you have other things to worry about first.

The business has changed JohnVroom. Siesmic services outside of North America are vastly different than years ago. 2nd and 3rd world countries expect 1rst world technology and lateral training of that country's citizens. Usually we are working with a labour force that has a level of education much below Canadian standards. The tasks and work loads are the same as expected in North America, but there is a massive gap in understanding of what is actually being done.

So yes I'm a roadie...but I'm part of a team.

HMMMMMMMm
Training people to perform 'monkey like' duties (do this, then do this, if this light comes on do this, if this light comes on you you've done well and get a banana, if this light comes on run!) They want you to train them so they dont need you... very arab indeed.
