Question

I'm putting a set of focal 100K2Ps up front.
the mid will be in the kick and the tweeter will be up in the A-pillar.

i'm just wondering wht you guys think i should do with the attenuation of the tweeter? (0 to -7dB)

the set will be getting 50watts per side for the time being.

thanks in advanced for the help

You will have to listen to it first! Are you using passive crossovers or active?

i am using an active on the low side of the 4" and then the passive for the high side of the 4"/low side of the tweeter.

4" - 125Hz to 3.5KHz
tweeter - 3.5KHz - 22KHz

Resistor in series and one in parallel.

I dont think he suggested the ones that look like
a variable resistor.

i think there has been a loss in translation.

what was meant by the question was:

how much should i attenuate the tweeters as they are in my A-pillars?
i have the option of 0dB to -7dB in 1dB increments.

thanks
