Go for XXX!!!!!!!!!!

A third sub is hardly worth it. Gaining only 1.5 db over two subs with all that weight and space. Doubling surface area from two to four subs will get you 3 db, and that you can hear. I do not think you will require more than two subs. Just feed them each at least a 1000 watts if you can.

p.s. I think '05 XXX is 55lbs.

That is correct i still have the packaging from my 05 re xxx that i got with a fresh recone from team psi and it reads 60 lbs. I have never heard a W7 but i do know that in a sealed enclosure they have the potential to push a ton of air with there high vmax and max excursion, with that said though i love my xxx and also i had an Fi Q ( know something was mentioned about them in this thread) and my XXX is twice the sub. The Q is a lowend beast but i found it didnt have much punch in the upper range at all. The xxx seems to have way more upper range and still packs a heck of a punch on the lower end.

I had it sealed in 1.5 and now am giving it a whirl in a 2.5 tuned to 33 and while its loud as ***** i miss the tightness of the sealed box, so now im looking for another motor to get reconed so i can run 2 sealed. If you end up selling yours i might even buy em both up to have a spare motor.
