I have an as the topic says a 2005 Caravan ( friends ) to put in an basic head unit. How does the surround come off? You know the main 1 holding the center part of the dash together.

I believe on that model caravan the surround simply pops off, first check in the top of the ash tray though because there may be 2 screws holding the bottom of the unit it.

pull it out its tight so be carefull

there should be instuctions on how to remove bezels in the kit you purchased metra has them
