I'm installing a set of JL XR653CSi's, and everywhere i look i see a maximum distance apert these components need to be. So before i go ahead chopping up my doors (kick pods not being done on this car) i was wondering if there is a minimum distance required for components? the layout i have has them within an inch of each other in the door (chambered for separation inside the door)....any help would be greatly sppreciated......great site by the way

 

I can't see why having the speakers close would be a problem. it's having them to far apart that you have to worry about when it comes to sound quality. Thats just my insight though.
