amp goes in to protect mode

Exclamation amp goes in to protect mode

as soon as the amp gain/ remote wire is hooked up its straight in to protect mode wether it has secondary power or not

Disconnect all speaker wires and the rca cables from the amp. If upon reconnection of the remote on wire and turn on of the cd player the amp still goes into protection, then there is a definite problem with the amplifier. Verify also that the amp has a good ground. If the amp did not go into protection, start looking at a pinched rca cable, pinched speaker wire or a bad speaker.

it goes on the second the remote wire is connected, have the ground bolted to the steel trunk hinge and well tried the wiring on another amp, same thing
going to try my amp and the amp i tried second on another already wired working set up and see... it only goes on once the remote wire is connected though and stays on with only the remot wire
