amp install problem

hey, doing my first install this weekend. got new deck installed fine (panasonic cq-c9700u) and i ran all my lines to the trunk for sub/amp. i checked with a voltmeter and the ground, remote, and 15v power line from the battery all are working fine but my amp (alpine MRP-M650) doesn't turn on. the fuses are fine too. ideas?

you sure you used the amp remote and not the power antenna wire?

i am fairly sure i did not mix the two up... because the radio works fine so therefore the antenna wire must be in the right one?

Try to connect direct 12V insted the remote cable.
if the amp turned on ,the problem is with the remote cable.
and if thats not the problem try to change your ground.
good luck.

I might suggest tapping the remote wire into an accessory wire and not a constant power so you don't drain your battery as badly.

my suggestion to use constant power is only for testing!!
to find the real problem in the system.
