Grr just my luck, I just did an upgrade on my sisters car amp with a pioneer GM-X354 amp, just sold her old working amp a few days ago then all of a sudden her new amp starts to just blow 25A fuses! What would be casuing this? I looked inside and nothing "looks" blowen, any ideas?

Anyone want to leave an offer on the amp? I would sell it and just replace it but who knows.

Are you able to look at both sides of the circuitboard? My last amp actually blew a trace off the backside lol.

Its probably somedamaged mosfets in the power supply though unfortunately. Sometimes you cant really tell by looking. I know all 6 went out on my other amp (because they were paralelled on the board) but only one of them had the tiniest little crack on it that was difficult to see.

Be sure to check your ground to make sure its solid, but im sure you've done that already.

Most likely a short somewhere on the circuit board if the fuse keeps blowing. Same thing happened with my US acoustics 2150.

Thats what I figured. Give it a try, but I would suspect if its mosfets along those traces theyre gone too unfortunately.

Current kills those traces.
I`d suspect a blown transistor somewhere.......
