now with the 105A alternator in my car, how much can that run? I notice that the lights dim when the sub is at full power, could that alt handle another amp for my 6x9's that are rated for 280watts each, I don't know how big of an amp to get for them, right now I have a 2x75watt amp and it does squat, have to turn the gain control way up then the sub suffers and get a constant buzzing noise at low volume

In anyones system big or small the smart onez dont run their system inbetween runs unless making an adjustment. Drains the battery need all the juice possible I heard somewhere u get disqualified for running it during someone elses run? no clue tho just heard it not sayin thats how it is.

That's why it's good to ahve more then one battery and to have good ones on top to boot. We (team shadow) have 8 batteries from exide. And they haven't let us down yet. So just to let you know that if you have more then one battery it helps. Just my 2 cents cheers

I think that the alt should handle the load all day long. I have a stock 60A alt in my truck and a crappy tire "TERMINATOR" batt and it beats my JBL 1200.1 and 180.2 all day long at full volume! Try cleaning your batt posts and all your terminations. EI Batt to alt, Block to ground, Batt to ground, Batt terminals, Power and ground on your amps too! Also it will help with the slight dimming lights and will never hurt if you upgrage the charging system wiring. Use 4ga, most factory charging systems use 10 to 8ga. That will help ALOT!!
