Blown speakers due to imprinting mistake?
Hi guys,
I'm having problems with a substantial amount of distortion coming from my speakers post imprinting.
This distortion only started after I had ran the imprint kit in my car. Unfortunately on my first run through I had the RCA's mixed up.
I'm pretty sure it's the speakers because nothing settings wise corrects the issue. This includes adjusting gain/volume or putting on the settings defeat.
So pretty much is this a case of blown speakers from that single pass? If not, anyone have any suggestions of what I can try to remedy this?
Oh and also, I relocated the amp prior to imprinting and to do so I had to solder splice on a additional short length of speaker cable. Though I'm fairly sure that after I had done this they still worked fine.
Thanks!
