Hey guys....sorry if im a newb but i dont know what to do....i used to have a sealed enclosure for 2 12's which i wired in parallel. Inside the box was one open area and I wanted to switch to a slot-ported enclosure to see if there is a difference. The store was in a rush to close so i just bought a slot-ported box for 2 12's . Now the space inside is 2 individual chambers each with its own port. Is that how its supposed to be for a ported application? How will I wire the box for parallel if they are individual chambers? Can I just drill a small hole between chambers to feed speaker wire without effecting performance? I have no idea and I dont want to return the box cause its so heavy

HELP!! THANKS!

Now hopefully i understand properly if so take the positive from the left sub and connect it to the positve of the other on the outside of the enclosure and the same also for the negatives, Voila parallel!

I would be more inclined to drill a small hole in the center brace that divides the two chambers, run wire through, and silicone the hole up so air can't leak through to the other chamber. What imntense said will work just the same, I would just prefer to have it taken care of inside the box if possible.
