I think amplifier clipping has been discussed enough in this thread. I invite anyone interested to debate the issue in another thread or start a new one.
I have no interest in starting a thread that is most certainly going to end in the beef section, and this thread would be dead without the amp topic continuing. If I felt it important enough to hash out the amp issues we've been talking about, I would have made a new thread
