Finding the right Amp
Finding the right Amp
Hello
I have two Pioneer TS-W5102SPL Subs. What what would be the best Amp for the job?
I was thinking of doing 4 Pioneer PRS-D1200SPL Mono Amplifier. two Amps per sub.
Would that work?
Thanks
David

I would look to a 2 amp system ideally. Less space, less wiring, better use of available power, easier to setup. Bassworx makes a fine mono amp that will produce more than ample power for this system with the 3000.1 model. It will definitely save you some $$$ at the same time.

You should install a relay into your system if you have more then two amps to reduce the chance of your headunit dying from being overloaded from the signal wire connection. If thats not clear maybe somebody else can explain it better.
I was looking at Hifonics 1-Channel XXV Sampson to run both subs and the 4-Channel XXV Gemini to run my Interiors speakers as well.
Im thinking of getting 3 Kinetik HC 1800 and 1 Kinetik HC 1400. i want to change my alternater but try to find one for a 2007 Kia Magentis. its hard to find.
what would you all recommend
Thanks
David
