Not only do we not run around anouncing ourselves we don't do it in Bradford Ont. I would say for being so far apart from everyone in the west I have met quite a few of the people on the board here. Especially on the Finals trip [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
So you're telling me that the guys winning the SQ awards are all using $50 HU's and $20 co-ax's?
It takes money to win at just about anything you want to do. It sucks, but it's a fact of life.
SPL takes a lot of testing and theories. Just like the SQ guys do.
I often hear of guys putting in HOURS to get their tweets lined up properly.
Same thing goes with SPL guys. Every 1/2 inch you move your box or port could be the difference between winning and losing.

And up there you say first place with $800 and now you say 3rd with $1000... Different shows??
I will agree though that for under a grand you can for sure take 3rd in the Stock 1 class at a show if you work at it...

I never said I won first place with an $800.00 system. What I said was "I guarantee you can win trophies with less then $800.00 worth of gear"
But since the education system has obviously failed once again, you misread that.
