Hey Does anyone know how to unlock a seat belt mechanism? I removed the entire seat belt system from my rear deck while I was sound proofing and the belt started to wind in. Now it is is fully wound into the mechanism and locked. Everytime I pull the belt, these pins on each side of the belt pop out and catch the teeth. I can't put anything back until I fix this. I drive an Acura EL if that helps.

 

Nevermine all fixed - Used a thin piece of metal to slowly jam the teeth. Pulled out belt 1 inch at a time.

 

Just so you know, it uses a ball bearing and if you tilt the seat belf mecanism in the right driection it'll free-wheel.

Took me a while to figure it out when I took my selt belts out. LOL
