I have an '84 B-250 van. It is starting to have too many $$$'s in it. I want to tighten my security in a few areas which I need your expertise/opinions on.

Can I change the locks? want to get rid of these old style locks with the pull-up pin on the top of the door - remember those? Can I rekey it also?

Ace clear defense bulletproof glass(also unbreakable) - I believe it's a layer that goes on existing windows - anyone use this? pricing?

Alarm - I have one now that has shock/door sensing - just noise for now - no ignition lockout.
I wouldn't mind installing just a motion detector which pages me - is there such a thing or do I have to do a full install of a new alarm?

thanks everyone!
craig.

For changin the locks that can be done, goto ur local locksmith and see what they can do. i would not doubt than can rekey ur locks. if u still have the pull up pin, have u thought of removin it? im takin mine out and goin with a new door opener/lock from a newer car, it means ill have to mod my door panel but that is life. the rest i have no idea
