^ Amplifiers should be the same exact thing: don't add anything or color the sound at all. If people feel that they do when they are listening to them, than what is considered 'correct' sounding? It's all opinion and subjectiveness.

To me, I still cannot understand how a simple cable can provide its own signature to the sound. An amplifier is way more complex obviously and I guess I can say it could degrade the sound more than another but even still, I have a hard time buying it.

thicker wire should give lower capatance but may also increase loop area... in the long run tho, a cable is a cable.... plain UTP is generally best to use in most applications IMO...

I would stick with thinner gauge wire's/Rca...due in part that they don't have the tendancy to pick up noise as much as heavier gauge Rca's.

Come on guys.. we all know that the best RCA's are made from the purest italian 99.99% OFC copper, jacketed in polymer/kevlar/fiberglass jacketing, with a semiconductive titanium 25 micron shield braid twisted at 19 degrees counterclockwise. With hand tooled stainless steel strain-relief braided steel lines between the two channels so there isn't any strain on that sweet italian copper, oh, and the plutonium infused adamantium ends.

on the other hand, I'm using stinger expert and bullet series for my RCA's, but I paid $15 for the expert series 17', and 10 each for the bullet series 3' RCA's
