mid bass
mid bass
i was wondering if any one could help me i have an alpine type r 10 for low bass set at 80 on the sony (i know) hu. A friend of mine gave me another 10 i didnt even know they made car audio its an angstrom. i wanted to know how i could set this angstrom to do mid bass when i have the hu at 80.
besides the fact that you'll probably need an external filter, and a new/another amp, I wouldn't do it.
First, its a 10" sub, which generally don't (or at least not spec'd) to run above ~250Hz.( mid bass is anything from 100hz to 3Khz) Second, if its not going to be in the dash (close to the front) I wouldn't even consider putting it in the trunk. Bass is considered to be non-directional, while everything else is. especially with increasing frequency.
It will sound like ***, and be more expensive then doing it right.
