Need help planning my SDime setup
Hey guys, i think this is in the right area, if not then let me know and i'll move it.
Im in the planning stages of setting up a system in my truck and i need help. Im really new at this and not a huge fan of electronics.
My S10 right now has 1 speaker in the drivers door and 1 in the passenger door. it also has 2 speakers in the dash facing the windshield (probably most of you know what i am talking about)
what i'm thinking is installing a new deck, 2 subs in the deck, upgrading my 4 speakers, installing 2 tweeters, installing a sub amp for the subs, and installing an additional amp for the 4 mid range speakers and the 2 tweeters.
my problem is that i don't know what to look for in this equipment, or if there is anything else that i need to make it sound right (i remember my buddy had these 2 little boxes about the size of a deck of cards in his truck).
Im not going high end on this, i'll wire it with some good wires, but for now i just want to install some mid-price-range equipment to get some thump. then work my way up slowly.
any and all help is appreciated.
