Theives also like to hear you coming, so they have an idea what they're stealing.

A lot of times I hear set ups where you can't hear it clearly inside the car, but outside is quite noticeable, especially if the car is outside and you're inside an enclosed space with little insulation, like a garage.

Yup I thought a lot about that theive thing. Decided that I like what I got, and actually it was wierd today it sounded louder and pounded harder when I was messin with SQ's. So I have no idea lol.

SQ's? You mean the EQ, right?

IMO, a good system has significantly louder sounding bass inside the car than outside, providing the windows are rolled up.

OK, I checked that out. SQ or System Q Sound control is Kenwood's "special" way of calling it an EQ. 6 pre-set settings (yawn).
