I just recently installed a Sony cdx-gt410u deck in my 1993 Chevy Silverado.
The wire harness only supports 4 speakers, Right Front and Rear, and Left front and rear.
But my truck has 6 speakers in total including door speakers.
Please Help Me!!

 

You can wire your door speakers to the front sides ex. Left front and left door.

Your door speakers are more than likely wired in parallel. These vehicles typically have a woofer and tweeter combination in each door. This is called a component speakers. Think of this as one speaker broken apart into two. Count it as one speaker. This means that you still have a total of 4 speakers.

Are you replacing the speakers in the vehicle right now or just the cd player?

 

Wire one set of speakers 8 ohms, the deck will run it all day...for exmple the fronts. If you have no idea what i am talking about, go see a professinal.

 

i dont believe that the speakers run in parallel because we have just installed the new cd deck and the 2 front and 2 rear speakers work, but the door speakers do not
i have only installed the deck so far, but am looking to install new speakers in the next few weeks
