Running the wire from my battery to my amp

Whats the easiest route to get my thick cable from my battery to my amp sitting in the trunk?

I dont really want to have to rip up carpet and such..but ive never done this before so im fairly ignorant on this subject.

I have a 99 grand prix, and lots of tools.

I have an 01 regal which is the sister car to the grand prix.

There is a huge factory grommet thing in the passenger footwell, I went into the cabin thru there, took up the passenger side doors sills and ran in in the factory void back to the rear, and then there is a spot to run it up into the trunk.

I have a 2001 GP......just as others have said here run it from either passenger or driver door sills.... if you run it along the driver side you can tuck it behind the inside door trim at the bottom....there's enough space....and then you run it all the way back and take it under the back bench into the trunk.....this is much easier if you have the fold down seats in the back....but in both cases ...not too hard to do....

good luck

There should be no reason wires should be visible if you do it right
