steering wheel controls in 2006 civic
I am trying to put in the swi-jack in a 2006 honda civic but am having troubles understanding the instructions. i know i am only suppose to use the red, black and white wire. but i dont know how to hook the white wire up to the swc wire or what wire that is. it also says to put a 3900 or 5100 ohm resistor in between the white and black wire. do i put the resistor in where they are hooked up to the wires or can i put the resistor in anywhere along the 2 wires??
any help will be appreciated this is my first install on one of these

There's a good little training video on the pac-audio website for those units to program them.
As for the resisters, yes thay can go any where along the wire that is attached to the SWI-jack, I'd cut off 6" to 8" from the end of the wire, from the SWI-jack, then solder the resisters to the end you just cut, then add the 6"-8" piece of wire you cut off to the other side of the resister, before tapping into the source wire you want. It just adds flexability and its so much easier to solder
The location of the SWC wire can be found in two places...one the website by simple using their application software....make/model/year of car or d it the harder way and open that map sized piece of paper you got with the packaging wth your SWI-jack. you might need a magnifiying glass to read it but it has all the applications that the SWI-jack will cover.
