so unless i am going to upgrade to a crx i will be using a 91 suzuki swift.. my question is does anyone have advive on a box?? (spl) tuning freq. subs and ports... subs up ports up? subs facing back ports back?? ect...

 

Usually facing back or straight up, for ports and or subs.

Tuning is alot harder without some time spent in the vehicle and a DB meter.



get a meter ( radioshack or whatever they are called now ) has some not totally accurate BUT can help to determine.

turn your deck on at a moderate volume, and play test tones and set whats louder on the meter.

 

if u are gonna use the CRX put the subs up and ports to the back and if u use the swift have both facing up.
