Subs work, speakers dont
#1
I just installed my 2 kaption spl 1500s into a huge speaker box replacing the back seat. It just pounds but anyways, i had my music just pounding and then my speakers cut out, then i blew a fuse. So i replaced the 2 10A fuses under my dash with 15A fuses. My head unit still turns on and runs perfectly but the speakers arent working. I have no fronts or backs but my subs still work. Wouldnt the blown fuses have protected the head unit or wouldnt the fuse in the head unit have blown before any damage was to happen to it. Im stumped with this one

First off, replacing your fuses with larger size is a bad idea.
It sounds like you run your highs off the deck? Well in any case, it sounds like whatever you run them off of is now dead. Most of the time that kills your RCA outputs too (subs would stop playing) but not always.
Another possibility - could you have turned the headunit power off in a menu? JVC used to offer that feature in some decks... If you were listening to it and the speakers just cut off though I would bet you smoked your deck.
