What's your Opinion?

I'm going to be hooking up my system this
week...I have two 500W subs in a box with
a 1000W amp mounted onto the box. What
I'm wondering is should I pace the box in
the trunk so the subs are facing the outside
or so the subs are looking at the back seat
of the car? How much will this effect the
sound and in your opinion what would be the
better way to place the box?

hey man , i have a 94 chrysler lhs with 2 12s in a slot ported box in the trunk . i pushed the box right up to the back seat with the subs facing the rear of the car , sounded awesome . i then poerted my rear parcel shelf with the nibbler , covered the hole with a 6.5" speaker grill and it pounds way harder inside the car . give it a try dude , you wont be dissapointed .

i found in my car that if i faced the subs towards the back of the seat it pounds harder but all cars are different. Try it both ways and decide which way you like better

/\ Hmm good point I guess there are a lot of factors
that could change the sound like trunk size and so
on... I'll try both out and see what happens
