Ok so there is no amp remote turn on wire, it only have a blue power antenna turn on which may be able to work, I am not sure if on this hu there is a constant 12volt from the power antenna wire when the hu is turn on and not on radio, you can check it, if there is a constant 12 volt comming out, then you could splice into it and use it to connect to your amp remote turn on terminal(#4).

Or this:

No don't cut the red wire, splice it, just peal of a small part of the insulation on it and join one end of a long peice of wire to it (make sure to use electrical tape over it when you are finish), the other end of this long wire should be connected to the #4 terminal on the amp (remote turn on).

Remember if there is a wire or jumper from #4 to #5 on the amp you have to remove it.

After you have done all of the above try it out, if everything is good then make the connection permanent, also listen to hear if there is noise comming out of your speaker when the car engine is on.

Hi Sonic, tapping into the blue power antenna turn on wire did worked out like a charm . I peeled it, connected it to the remote turn on wire (By the way, there was a jumper connecting the two terminals to make it one ). The Amp is now pumping my 12" sub and the sound is AWESOME

Without your help, I wouldn't have achieved any of this and now I've got a lil bit of idea about wiring, relays, wire colors, remote turn ons, accessory wires.

Lastly, I would like to have your suggestion on speakers. Am planning on changing my car rear speakers which are 5"-1/4', any preffered make and model?
