i need a little help here from some of you guys who know a lot about computers...

for some reason, everytime i start a new program(internet explorer, msn, ANYTHING) the program microsoft money pops up and trys to install itself. it even does it if i click on a link on a webpage. is there anyway i can get this to stop besides installing it? it wont be that big of a deal if i have to install it, its just that i dont really need it on my computer.

thanks.

try just uninstalling/reinstall it, we have that with our hp software sometimes something in the registry screws up and drops the reg keys, check MSCONIG and gotot he startup tab and check for anything in reference to ms money and remove the check. Ms office likes to install it's **** on startup so it can hog your resources just remove the check from MS office if you see it listed then reboot see what happens.

could be some stupid virus or something like that...they can download themselves from any website that you browse onto then install themselves. they always do really stupid things that just get annoying. did you run a virus check?

(especially when they start flashing **** site pop-ups!)

Run Spybot & Destroy and Also Adaware 6
(use them both! they catch stuff the other didn't)

Use those then try the IE.
