I've also had training as a trainer for hockey. So I have a bit of an idea of what I'm talking about.

If he broke it or tore something he wouldn't have been able to play a couple of days later and wouldn't have been able to go a few days before even asking us what was up.

It's not a problem with his back because he remembers twisting it. Lets use some common sense here
