Ive been whoring stereo gear up at school... so today I decided to wire the output from a plate amp to a 400watt reciever which is in turn powering 2 13" drivers in 4cube box (plate amp is acting as my X-over/gain control)

Its ghetto... but its loud enough to rattle every window in a 9 bedroom house...


Is anyone else skilled in the art of chicken wiring + duct taping ?

Nothing like 20ft of rca`s to cover a required 2ft

All my wiring for home setup is ghetto...

My speaker wires came from a set of Escort replacement speakers a buddy had laying around...still have the Ford part number stickers on it...

Most of my RCA's are like Seahag said...20 Ft to cover 2 ft...

I actually am thinking of taking a Kicker 12L5, dumping it in a ported enclosure, slapping a plate amp to it and using it as a computer sub.
