lookin for some new heavy metal music (need new bands) ideas??
hmm i've tried to download a song or two from each of those bands to get a taste...some aren't bad....still downloading a bunch.
What if i ask for more so hard alternative rock then metal so much. The hard heavy guitar is fine, but it has to be a kickin beat to get thru a buncha this singing. And thats rather rare.
What about more intense stuff, like Dope, and a couple of Papa Roach's new stuff...megadeth....etc

Maybe you should turn back the clock a little and give some of these bands a listen -- much of what is currently around has ripped off these sources:
Dio
Malmsteen
Queensryche
Faith No More
Jane's Addiction
Sound Garden
Alice In Chains
and if you haven't heard it before AC/DC powerage is still a mind blower of a rock album -- it is not metal, but it is still my favorite album of all time to this day

Trust Company - Fold, Stronger, Casbah (thats right a remix of it), Line, Down, Refelection, Over
These are all from their True Parallel's cd, I got it last night, its great. Mind you it's not ALL of the songs on the cd though I only listed the ones with the 'heavy guitar'.

does anyone know any cool german heavy metal bands...i heard a lot of it from the europeans at the db drag finals and it was awesome but i can't even pronounce some of the name, let alone remember them. i don't really care if i understand it or not, it's just awesome pounding loud good music!!!
