LOL, I remember that...

Seems to me that there is still a lot of new posts going up and I personally don't see a huge difference from the old site...... except that the donut shop seems pretty slow these days.....

as posted noobs can probably just read a bit, learn a bit, and can probably answer their own questions by using the search function..... no need to post.....

Meh, I am lazy

Honestly I'm not 100% sure but some thoughts.. I mostly post in the eastern section, and with the time of year there is not much going on right now..

Also when I see an interesting topic I usually will post on it.. sometime I choose not to because of other posts of people being arrogant, cocky or just plain know it alls..

That's all I can really think of

Hey that sounds like something I would say. Your taking that out of context hehe.

In my experience adding more power from 50 to 75 to 150 always seemed to make a nice improvement.... not at 300 though heh I couldnt realyl see the benefits at that point.... trailling off here.

In any case I agree that its hard to talk to people about things, once they have a preconceived notion they usually dont want to hear the contrary... like your cap issue, talk to someone who has a cap and all his friends have caps, asking him why he thinks he needs one or if he tried the cheep fixes before the cap you get a blank stair and back to focusing on how many farads he should need.

I intially left when I moved into a new house and sold off most of my gear... but apparently I am back... most of the cool cats of old dont seem to be around as much.

I to much enjoyed the SQ orientation of days gone.

I for one (being a newer member) would love to see more SQ discussion, I have noticed that most of the discussion is spl related.
I'm an audiophile at heart, and music is definatly what drives me. (sorry for the horrible pun)

I'm in it for the clean 18hz-22khz experience.

I like Wade and all but "legend" seems a little over the top. Noted competitor is more appropriate IMO

And yeah I miss some of the old gang (and some I really do not) but something I have learned over the years, on a number of forums (especially car audio related) is:

1) There will always be noobs with noob questions
2) Those noobs, 6months later, will have huge attitudes because they are now audio kings.
3) Some people help, some people hate, some people lurk, some people leave.

Really, I find the board as active and interesting as it was 5 years ago. Sure it's different, but largely the same.

As far as SQ talk goes - how about you guys introduce topics every now and again, rather than waiting for someone else to. I'm always game for debate

I just don't post here because I get yelled at for asking questions or people doesn't even reply to my posts, so for a while I was only in OT but now there is only like 1 new post a month.

I wish there was more action but I dunno.
