I was thinking about something the other day. All these recording companys want to stop music downloading, and are starting to press charges lately. We all know that the 1 major downfall of the mp3 is the quality. We (as audiophiles) should get together, and basically say to the recording companys "If you want people to stop downloading music, why not try recording it better?" Since we all know, that most new music is not recorded very well.

Thoughts?

seems the record companies are getting cheaper and cheaper with the quality of cd's that they have been putting out, but then again, there's always people who will not pay for anything...

You just need to know where to look.
The VAST majority of people couldn't care less.

Yeah I agree. Audiophiles are few and far between. Big buisness has to prostitute itself to the status quo. There's no way anyone I know could tell if they were listening to a bad recording or not.

I could live with vinyls easily myself...

I'd honestly rather take mini disc over mp3 anyways... Just as compact as an mp3 player, removable, easy to transport and store.
