Well I have all my mp3s on my computer 128 and to me there is no sq difference and I have 96 on my mp3 player because it's only an old school 32mb player...then when I listen to a 192kbp and a 128kbp I hear no difference but when I hear a 64kbp it sounds like crap which to me says there is a big difference when you go to a 64kbp.

I hear the 128kbp with computer speakers and my home therter which has my car system hooked up to it and head phones it all depends on the day and the 96kbp on head phones only but dodgeram when my mp3 deck was going I like the fact I got get 225 songs on a re-writeable cd or about 300 on a writeable

I can handle the quality of lower frequencies with 128kbps...but listening to something like offspring with a lot of symbols and it just makes me cringe!!!

High End Audio and MP3 by definition are mutually exclusive ...for anyone with ears, at least!
