I can pick up one of these with only 70hrs on the lamp/bulb for $500 Canadian. Worth it?

what are you going to mainly use it for??
vid games, movies, sat or digi cable? vid games sure, then your not going to burn out the bulb life as fast... movies yes as well, but regular viewing will kill that bulb faster than you can say sun-guy-mung-guy anyways..... because it'll be done in roughly 2000-3000 hrs, not done as in no picture just that's the time in which you get half brightness, so not your money's worth...

 

Mainly for movies & tv.
