Outlook OOO turn on and off automatically?

Technically the email address isn't used by any one specific person, but rather an automatically emailing system that provides replies to people when they submit trouble tickets or related.
At first, I just setup a KVM so that people could easily log into a computer solely setup for this outlook account, however, that seemed to be near impossible to remember. At least it's beyond the capabilities of my staff. Maybe that says something about my staff....who knows, but thats the reason behind searching for an automatic solution.
If someone else things it at least seems plausible, i'll inquire with the software development folks and see if they can tell me how hard this would be to write.
